The contestants channel Hollywood of yesteryear when HELL’S KITCHEN hosts a high school prom with a retro theme. The first challenge requires the teams work to impress the students with their proposed menus. The winning team earns a day of fun at an amusement park, while the losing team must spend the day transforming HELL’S KITCHEN under the watchful eye of the event committee. Later, Chef Ramsay tests the contestants’ creativity by challenging them to create an innovative entrée salad. Much is at stake, as the winning salad will be featured in Bon Appétit magazine and served as the main dish at dinner service. After serving both undercooked and overcooked dishes, Chef Ramsay must single out the weak links.
