Created by David Simon and Eric Overmyer, this drama series follows a group of people in New Orleans trying to rebuild their lives and the city post-Hurricane Katrina.
A small crowd gathers around a battered edifice amidst the wreckage of a post-Katrina street in the Upper Ninth Ward to witness the first second line parade since the storm. A few white bohemians, police officers, National Guardsmen, humanity workers and church volunteers are scattered through the most black group of musicians and locals, many of whom have driven back from Houston or Baton
