Dom and Sheree head to Twickenham, West London, where they help a single mum, 35 year old marketing manager Juliet Avery, and her newborn baby. She spent her entire pregnancy sleeping on the floor and friends’ sofas – all thanks to a cowboy builder.Juliet was looking to move but, realising her budget wouldn’t stretch to a two-bed, decided to buy a one bedroom flat and extend it. The builder she paid £50,000 ripped down a load of walls, but never built the extension, leaving her home open to the elements. By then, Juliet was heavily pregnant, and having run out of friends’ sofas to sleep on, had to move back into her unsecured building site of a home.
Sheree has a battle on her hands with chief builder John Russell, as she tries to stretch the budget to give Juliet and baby Megan the home they deserve. Dom investigates the cowboy in question – and discovers that it’s more than his building work that has made some former clients unhappy.
