While having breakfast, Mordecai and Rigby talk about the lack of furniture in each of their rooms. During the discussion, Benson and Pops come through the kitchen lugging a chair with them. Interested in obtaining the item, the duo rush out of the house to follow the older gentlemen. Upon discovering that they are going to throw away the chair, Mordecai and Rigby insist on checking it out. Benson leaves to take care of some other business while the boys admire the chair, both deciding that is a good piece of furniture. However, their judgment is reversed when they each decide to sit in the chair and realize that it is uncomfortable (the reason for throwing it out). Despite this, Mordecai and Rigby both want the chair for themselves and ask Pops for it. Unable to decide who to give it to, Pops man leaves it for them to decide. After refusing to play “punchies” for it, Rigby suggests a game that will require more skill: rock, paper, scissors.
