Bolette and her daughter Sarah are sick and tired of each other’s fashion faux pas! Sarah is a 27-year-old nursing student in Woodland Hills, CA, who moonlights as a bartender and feels most comfortable wearing oversized shirts and hole-y jeans, but her mother thinks she dresses too much like a tomboy. Meanwhile, 45-year-old Bolette is an ER registered nurse who dresses with one thing in mind… C-O-M-F-O-R-T.
From the instant New York stylist Luciene Salomone meets this outlandish mother/daughter duo, she has her hands full! After chatting with Bolette and Sarah about what they hate about each other’s style, Luciene observes a fashion show from both women so she can see, firsthand, where each of them is going wrong.
Bolette and Sarah then meet separately with Luciene, who gives each woman some fashion advice before sending them out on their own to shop for each other. Each woman must find some great new outfits for the other, including one extra-special outfit for a big party where they will reveal their new looks.
