    Man lost in the Amazon with befriended dog. Loyal dog. Dog disappears after lost man lost his canoe. Dog tracks man 70 miles through jungle. Lost man kills loyal dog to eat.
    Piece of crap man should have stayed lost.

    I agree! The stupid guy kills and eats his dog, knowing he has malaria and can't keep anything down. He throws up his dog, and the dog dies in vain. The dog could have survived without the loser instead of searching for him. I have no sympathy for him.

    I haven't been back here since seeing "I Wish HE Didn't Survive" and needed to rant.
    Very happy to see your comments. I have always watched ISBA hoping for the best for those facing death. I would like to know what Animal Planet thinks about all those viewers wishing the dog had lived instead of so called human that did?
    The thought of that creature traveling the world really pisses me off.

    It was pure magic when that dog showed up! THE most inspiring minute of televsion--which quickly turned into the feel bad story of the decade! Seriously??? You're going to kill some amazing wonder dog and char broil his innards because they'll be easier to digest than some berries? The dog could have probably could have found his way out if he wasn't busy looking for that imbecile. If only he had started gnawing on the guy's half dead carcass when he found him passed out on the forest floor-instead of reviving him. What a much better ending that would have been.

    Boy was I disgusted. I hate that man. It just made me sick and I said a prayer for the dog who found his evil master after 40 miles. I was crying.
