Chilling drama series. In 1968, Evelyn suggests to Ruth and Paul that they should visit a priest, who advises them to have another child. Ruth is determined to find out the truth about Alice's death, refusing to believe it was an accident. In 1987, Helen and Eddie take Amy to see a psychiatrist and are shocked to learn that social services may have to get involved. Meanwhile, Amy asks Alice to leave her alone.
