New series of the programme in which extreme angler Jeremy Wade goes in search of some of the most frightening freshwater fish on the planet. In this episode, Jeremy journeys up the Congo River in Central Africa looking for the notorious Goliath Tiger Fish – a terrifying beast that preys on the unsuspecting. This creature combines strength, speed and ferocity to create a freshwater killing machine. With some of the biggest teeth of any freshwater fish, its aggression is the stuff of nightmares. This mysterious predator pushes Jeremy to his physical and mental limit and it will take all of his skills – as well as some supernatural help from the local witch doctor – to catch one.
