At the 25th annual Arctic Man event, a handful of troopers attempt to keep the peace for over 12,000 partiers. Heavy drinking, one of the world’s toughest downhill ski races and high powered snow machines make this event a challenge for the Alaska State Troopers. Then its on to another Alaskan springtime tradition: the 33rd annual Slush Cup. Later, Alaska State Troopers use the frozen Bering Sea as an airstrip in order to reach one of the most remote villages in America, where they deal with everything from an arrest to polar bears. North of the Arctic Circle, one wildlife trooper patrols his roughly 105,000 square miles of territory. In the Matsu Valley, the stakes are raised as troopers race against time in their fight to prevent suicide.
